I just got my hands on my Cintiq 21ux today! Fedex delivered it to my parents door step and after me taking it home and doing stupid things like not realizing there's a switch for the VGA output you have to flip I finally have it up and running!
I am so incredibly excited that I get to delve into digital painting again with this AMAZING tool that was my graduation from College back in December present.
Now, as I relearn my Digital Painting skills as I have mainly done Traditional Media for the past four and a half years I will be doing very very dirt cheap commissions. I also really really really need some side cash as Oklahoma has no Graphic Design/Illustration market to speak of and there are no full time jobs. I still work at my part time University staff job at the library and just applied at Starbucks for part time.
So, monies welcome.
I'm thinking....
$20 one character portrait commissions
$40 full character commissions
$60 full character with intricate background commissions
$15 dollars per extra character on digital commissions.
~With digital commissions I will send you the full size/resolution file without a watermark, prints to be mailed on request)
Of course I can still do traditional commission from...(These are my regular Artist Alley convention prices)
$10 full character pencil sketch ($5 per extra character)
$15 full character inked ($5 per extra character)
$25 full character Copic marker ($10 per extra character)
~With traditional commissions I will send you the full size/resolution file without a watermark as well as snail mail you the original!
Sadly I didn't know if I'd still be in Oklahoma this long after I graduated so I didn't sign up for our Tokyo in Tulsa convention and I got wait-listed. It's sucktastic.
But with the help of you lovely people we can make up for that suckiness
